Thank you so much for visiting Shepherd’s Lair Lynx….the home of 7 Highland Lynx Cats and 1 Desert Lynx! My husband and I are life long animal lovers who live on a small but functional farm in Virginia with a variety of animals besides our lynx cats!
We fell in love with and were Highland Lynx breeders of these gorgeous, amazing and wonderful cats for many years. Though we are no longer breeding, we remain very involved with the Highland Lynx Cat community on several levels. We also have been very invested in the study of nutrition for pets and people for over 30 yrs. and believe in natural and holistic diet, lifestyle and treatment whenever possible.
As you may have guessed from our website, we are followers of the Shepherd (Jesus). Our lives are always a work in progress, but we strive to live what we believe. We believe real happiness has to do with living for and being at peace with God, as well as trying to help those around us. These beliefs carry over into everything we do, including stewardship of our lynx cats and other animals……and our dealings with you. 🙂
